Aulos knew this day was coming. He knew it all his life, even if he didn’t know exactly when or what was happening. The priestess at his orphanage told him he was the key to a great prophecy, the one to destroy evil for good. They’ve carefully crafted a special lantern and gifted it to him once he left the temple to seek his mission. The words of priestess Hera echoed in his mind for long years: “You’ll shine the light upon the great darkness, and bring hope to hopeless men.” 
When the necromancer’s calling was heard, he needn’t think twice. It was the time to fulfill the prophecy.
